Spring into Summer with the Town of Kwinana's inaugural events calendar, a guide to free community events from October 2009 until March 2010.

Centennial Park, Bertram - Sunday 22 November 2009- 4.30pm - 6.30pm

Come and enjoy a fantastic family afternoon listening to the exciting sounds of the Swing Shift Big Band playing jazz standards as well as latin and swing grooves.

Bring a blanket and picnic.  Refreshments available. 

*Parking limited.  Please come on foot if possible.

The Town of Kwinana is hosting a free Australia Day communty breakfast on 26 January 2009. All welcome!

The event is a great opportunity to catch up with friends and neighbours whilst enjoying free entertainment and an Aussie BBQ breakfast. The event will also include presentation of the Premier's Active Citizenship Awards and a chance to welcome several new Australians during a very special citizenship ceremony.

Join us on the lawn outside the Council offices, corner of Sulphur Road and Gilmore Avenue, between 9am and 11am.

Whilst some seating and shade will be provided, attendees are encouraged to bring a deckchair or picnic rug so that they are able to sit back, relax and enjoy the morning.
