Australia Day at Kwinana Adventure Park

19 December 2016

Australia Day in Kwinana.
Kwinana will celebrate Australia Day in a new location in 2017, moving to Calista Oval - home of the new Kwinana Adventure Park.

This free event will include the Premier’s Award presentations and a special Citizenship Ceremony to officially welcome new residents into the community.

Kwinana’s Australia Day Celebration is a family-friendly event with plenty of free activities, including:
  • water slide, bungee run, face painting and bubble station from 10am;
  • barbeque breakfast provided by Rotary Club of Kwinana;
  • free ice-cream for the first 500 children; and
  • music by Howie Morgan Project from 10:30am to 12:30pm.
Kwinana Mayor Carol Adams said the City was proud to offer free yearly events like this one to the Kwinana community.

“Our Australia Day Celebration is always very popular, with residents enjoying the opportunity to come together and enjoy a free barbeque breakfast in the sunshine," said Mayor Adams.

"Our hardworking local groups such as Rotary Club of Kwinana make events like this possible.

“The Kwinana Adventure Park is the ideal spot to celebrate Australia Day, with the splash pad, barbeques and plenty of shady spots to picnic."
