Local Commercial and Activity Centre Improvement Grant Program

About the Program

The City recognises that Local Commercial and Activity Centres play a vital role in both the local economy and residents’ quality of life. In order to ensure that this crucial sector continues to provide essential services to the community, a grant program has been developed, which will complement the City’s Local Commercial and Activity Centres Strategy.

Grant funds will be allocated on a competitive basis via an Expression of Interest (EOI) process and applications for the next round will be open in early 2018.

The following Local Commercial and Activity Centres are eligible to apply for funding via the
EOI process as defined by the Local Commercial and Activity Centre Strategy:
  • Medina
  • Parmelia
  • Calista
  • Orelia
