The City of Kwinana is happy to now offer a new online system for displaying impounded dogs.

Dogs will be uploaded to this website, our
Facebook page and our
Twitter page usually within one working day of being collected by Rangers. Dogs will be displayed for a maximum period of
five working days, after which time the photos will automatically be removed from the website and attempts to rehome will begin.
If you are the owner of a dog listed as currently impounded, if you think you know who the owner may be or if you would like to enquire about potentially offering one of these pooches a new home, please call City of Kwinana Rangers on 08 9439 0200.

Dog Pound
Located on Beacham Crescent, Medina, within the City of Kwinana Depot.
Opening hours:
12pm - 1pm Monday to Friday no appointment necessary.
On weekends (between 8am and 5pm) please phone the Duty Ranger on 0411 078 264.
The Town is required by legislation to keep a dog in the pound for a minimum of 72 hours to provide time for the dog to be reunited with its owner. After that period, where possible the City seeks to find suitable homes for dogs capable of being rehoused.
Reclaiming your Dog
If your dog has been impounded and you wish to reclaim your pet, any outstanding pound and daily sustenance fees need to be paid to the Rangers prior to collection.
- Impoundment fee: $110
- Sustenance fee: $30 per day
Please note that if you have not registered your dog you will need to do so before collecting it from the pound.
Payment at the pound is cash or credit card only.
