About the Kwinana Volunteer Resource Centre
The Kwinana Volunteer Resource Centre (KVRC) is a central point in the community for information on all things relating to volunteering.
Many local groups and organisations rely on the goodwill and generosity of volunteers to help them. By lending a hand, for just a short time, you can make a huge difference to the quality of other people's lives.
Why Volunteer?
Volunteering is a great way to build on your life skills, and is also a fun way to meet new people. The benefits of volunteering cannot be underestimated. Through volunteering you can:

There are a wide and diverse range of volunteering roles that can keep you busy for as little as half an hour per week to daily positions – however much time you can spare!

The KVRC is located in the Town of Kwinana Library at the Darius Building, Hutchins Cove, Kwinana Town Centre (look out for the big balloon).

Mondays and Wednesdays from 9am – 4pm

Rights & Responsibilities
Unlike paid staff, volunteers are not covered by award or work place agreements. Volunteers however have rights, some that are through legislation, and some of which could be considered the moral obligations of an organisation involving volunteers. Volunteering Australia promotes the following as the basic rights of a volunteer.
