Winners recently announced at 2011 Mayoral Stakeholders Dinner.
The Town recently announced the winners of the 2011 Kwinana Looking Forward Awards which are given to an individual or organisation for their significant contributions to the Kwinana community.
For the first time ever the Town presented two separate organisations with the
esteemed award. These award winners are listed below:
Eclipse Resources
 Over the past five years Eclipse Resources have shown a great amount of commitment to the youth of Kwinana through their sponsorship of the award winning LyriK (Leadership Youth Respect in Kwinana) youth incentive program.
Their involvement and passion for the LyriK program made Eclipse Resources worthy winners of a 2011 Looking Forward award.
Rockingham Kwinana Development Office
Since its inception nearly eight years ago the Rockingham Kwinana Development Office (RKDO) has been a major contributor to some of the Town’s biggest projects including the $340 million Town Centre Revitlalisation and Rockingham Road upgrade.
The Town of Kwinana is the fastest growing local government in Perth’s southern corridor and it is only through support such as that provided by the RKDO that we can continue moving forward with the groundbreaking projects underway throughout the area.
Our gratitude goes out to these worthy winners and we look forward to working with them in the future to deliver the best possible outcomes for the Kwinana community.
